Terms of Business
In these terms and conditions agency shall mean Nannies from Ireland: client shall mean the person requesting the agency's service: employee shall mean an individual introduced by the agency and engaged by the client: engagement shall mean the contract of employment between a client and an employee.
• By requesting the agency's services and subsequently engaging an employee the client will be bound by and deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, and our current scale of fees.
• The agency is an introductory service. The client is solely responsible for engaging the employee and all terms and conditions of employment must be arranged directly between the client and employee as part of employment act 1973, to provide the employee with an employment contract.
• The client shall be entirely responsible for the deduction of the employee tax and national insurance, and accounting for this to the Inland Revenue.
• The agency must be informed as soon as an engagement is made and at the same time giving the date of commencement of employment and the length of stay (if temporary).
• The agency endeavours to introduce only candidates of the highest calibre, but cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or personal injury arising out of any introduction, and specifically does not give any warranty concerning history, character, clash of personalities, health, age and capability of any employee, or for other circumstances that may arise beyond its control.
• All introductions are strictly confidential to the client. If the client breaches the obligation of confidence and passes the introduction to other propective employers, resulting in an engagement, the appropraiate fee will be payable by such employer, or in default by the client.
• Nannies from Ireland are happy to advise and offer help with contracts of employment, tax and national insurance contributions and any other matter that may arise.
